Hubble at AusFenEx25: Celebrating Innovation in High-Performance Building

We had a fantastic time at AusFenEx25 on the Gold Coast, connecting with industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers. From inspiring keynotes and Tim Johnston’s policy insights to discussions on the role of high-performing windows in better building envelopes, the event reinforced why we’re proud AGWA members. Together, we’re shaping more efficient, comfortable, and climate-ready homes.

We were proud to be part of AusFenEx25 on the Gold Coast this September – the premier event bringing together Australia’s window, glass, and glazing industry. Hosted by the Australian Glass and Window Association (AGWA), the conference highlighted the vital role our industry plays in creating sustainable, comfortable, and future-ready homes.

A huge thank you to the organisers, sponsors, and speakers who made the event such a success. Highlights included keynote presentations from Marty Wilson, who set the tone with humour and insight; Felicity Furey, who inspired with her perspective on leadership and women in business; and Adam Spencer, whose keynote blended innovation with storytelling. We were also inspired by Orange Sky, whose closing keynote reminded us of the social impact we can drive.

We also want to acknowledge the important policy-focused discussions, particularly Tim Johnston’s talk, which underscored how the right regulatory settings can drive better outcomes for homeowners, the industry, and the environment. Policy and regulation are critical levers: by setting higher standards for the building envelope and incentivising the uptake of high-performing products, governments can accelerate the transition to healthier, more efficient housing stock.

At Hubble, we believe the building envelope is the foundation of energy efficiency and comfort. Windows, in particular, are a critical element: they connect us to light, views, and fresh air, but when poorly designed, they are the biggest source of energy loss. By embracing high-performing windows and better materials, we can reduce running costs, cut emissions, and deliver homes that are more comfortable and resilient in a changing climate.

That’s why being part of the AGWA community matters to us. As proud AGWA members, we value the opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders who share our vision for raising standards and delivering real impact for homeowners.

AusFenEx25 reinforced that together – manufacturers, installers, researchers, councils, and innovators – we can accelerate the shift toward homes that aren’t just built for today, but for the future.
